Arkansas Proposed Initiative Act No. 1 prevents kids from being adpoted or placed in foster homes of people who cohabitate with a sexual partner they’re not married to. It applies to any couple, gay or straight. Though becuase straight couples can get married in Arkansas and gay couples can’t, it clearly targets gays.
It’s still a stupid and horrible act and I’m not happy it passed. But it doesn’t “ban gay marrage” as your post implies.
